2025 Ford Ranger price and specs: PHEV joins top-selling diesel lineup

The Ford Ranger lineup has been expanded once again, now including plug-in hybrid (PHEV) technology.

Ford has added the option of a petrol PHEV powertrain to the existing Ranger XLT, Sport and Wildtrak variants, while adding a new Stormtrak trim that will be exclusive to the new powertrain.

The Ranger lineup remains otherwise unchanged, now standing at 25 available variants in Australia.

Changes to the wider range – reported earlier this year – include the entry-level XL scoring a 400W power inverter, with power sockets now fitted inside the cabin and in the tray for pickups.
